Saving Grace Home Care is located in the heart of Pinellas County, FL. We are professional, agile and our goal is to assistant adult persons with disabilities by increasing access to community - based services, treatment, and residential options.
We are looking for an experienced In Home Caregiver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality care to disabled individuals in their homes. This position requires a compassionate individual who is able to provide assistance with activities of daily living, including, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication oversight. The ideal candidate will have a caring attitude, out going, energetic and be able to build strong relationships with clients and their families. The position allows for a live in caregiver that will not be responsible for any of the bills as this will be paid by the owner of the group home. APD experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with activities of daily living, activates and outings
- Prepare meals and snacks.
- Help with light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and dusting.
- Monitor the safety of their home environment.
- Provide transportation for some errands.
- Be able to document task completed.
- Medication oversight
Requirements:
List of requirements to become a Service provider for individuals with disabilities (APD).
1. High School Diploma, official transcript or GED
2. Level II background check through Medicaid AHCA and APD (Fingerprints)
3. Local Law Enforcement Background Check (From the County you reside)
4. Zero Tolerance certificate
5. Direct Care Core Competencies Certificate
6. HIPAA certificate from ATTAIN Inc. or Train FL. (all of which could be obtained for free online)
7. Requirements for all waiver providers certificate
8. Professional experience verification
9.CPR & First Aid certificate
10.State ID and Social security card
11. Medication Validation
12. PCM Certified is a plus
