Business Reporting and Data Analyst
The Business Reporting and Data Analyst will be responsible for working with stakeholders and management to determine requirements, make technical recommendations, and collaborating effectively with project teams or individuals utilizing their knowledge of the banking industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide insights into the reporting abilities of the programs utilized.
Provide general design standards for presentation of performance metrics & data integrity used for the oversight of various business functions.
Transform copious amounts of data, finding and creating the necessary elements that will provide a solution to be an active member of a bank committed to excellence.
Creating one-time or regular use static reports that are distributed, interactive and user-friendly dashboards that provide business units with the ability to use information quickly and efficiently, or accurate data sets that can be reviewed, pivoted, and analyzed dynamically.
Regularly collaborate with the sponsoring individual(s) or departments in an Agile fashion to prioritize projects, raise concerns, and keep development on track.
Responsible for optimizing performance, documenting processes, and providing support and training to the users once completed.
Educational and experience requirements include:
· Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, Crystal reports, Power Bi, Excel, relational databases, and report design is highly desirable
· Previous work with COCC or Fiserv DNA core banking systems is also preferred
· The ability to reconcile and verify output to accounting systems and reports is beneficial
· Education or advanced training in database reporting and coding
· Effective and demonstrated project management and collaboration skills
· The ability to understand project goals and anticipate end user needs
· Experience working in a related role with a record of quality output and successful outcomes
· Proven ability to work within project budgets and deadlines
