Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take customer orders and relay them accurately to the kitchen staff
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Use cash register to process payments and handle cash transactions
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Assist with food preparation, handling, and service as needed
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the food industry and food handling regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using a cash register and handling cash transactions
- Familiarity with OpenTable or other reservation management systems is a plus
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to upsell menu items
