Work Schedule:
LPNs work 7 shifts every pay period, spanning 12-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break. Rotations change every four months based on departmental needs. Shifts are scheduled by the Flight Commander and include Day (0545 – 1815) and Night (1745 – 0615) times.
Minimum Qualifications (Applicants must meet the following requirements):
- Degree/Education:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school and successfully pass the NCLEX-PN boards.
- Experience:
- Mandatory employment in nursing within the last 12 months and a minimum of 2 years of active clinical nursing practice in an inpatient setting.
- Licensure:
- Hold an active and unrestricted LPN/LVN license from any U.S. state.
- Life Support Certifications:
- Maintain current ARC or AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Completion of S.T.A.B.L.E and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire is required.
- Certification:
- Contractor must provide documentation/certification of IV therapy training from one of the following educational alternatives: Post-graduate level course, Credit for Previous Education, or Nontraditional Education.
- Security:
- Possess the ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary security clearance.

- Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Conduct exams, provide health education, administer medications and personalized care.
- Assign tasks, respond to emergencies, and coordinate patient care.
