Winder Operator

Savvy Staffing is hiring Winder Operators in Devens, MA

Schedule:

1st Shift

• 6am- 6pm 4 Days On 4 Days Off 12hr

Job Sumary:
This position is responsible for operating equipment to convert and package rolls of paper into sizes that meet customer orders.

Essential Functions:

• Operates and maintains equipment for converting and packaging
• Uses computer systems to track production, update inventory, and label finished products
• Operates Industrial Truck after obtaining the proper license
• Follows quality requirements to ensure products meet or exceed specifications
• Performs necessary maintenance on machines and reports major issues to the supervisor/shift leader
• Adheres to all safety requirements and regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Industrial truck experience preferred
• Manufacturing or industry experience is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Maximum lifting/carrying of 50-60 lbs
• Frequent lifting/carrying of 10 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Morning shift

Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications
