Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team at JPMC. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automating infrastructure, managing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring security and compliance in a cloud environment. You will work closely with development and operations teams to optimize deployments, enhance system performance, and drive cloud automation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Automation: Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and optimize GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline workflows for continuous deployment.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Manage Docker containers and orchestrate them using Kubernetes (EKS) or AWS ECS.
- Monitoring & Logging: Implement and maintain monitoring solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices using AWS IAM, KMS, Security Hub, and GuardDuty.
- Scripting & Automation: Automate repetitive tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Networking & Security: Configure VPC, subnets, security groups, NACLs, and ensure high availability and scalability.
- Performance Optimization: Improve cloud resource utilization and optimize application performance.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer in an AWS cloud environment.
- Expertise in AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, DynamoDB, Route 53, IAM, and CloudFormation.
- Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and AWS ECS for containerized applications.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices in AWS.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot performance and deployment issues.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) is a plus.
