Our corporate offices are in Dublin, CA and we offer a hybrid work environment with some days at the corporate office and some days working from home.
We are growing and looking for a Senior Business Analyst. The ideal candidate is highly curious, analytical and passionate about using data analytics to make a business impact, with a strong ability to translate complex data into actionable insight. He/She will partner closely with his/her peers in analytics, product, marketing and engineering teams across the company to drive a deeper understanding of our business and identify opportunities for growth. He/She has strong business acumen and will assist stakeholders with analytics, reporting, and tell stories through dashboards and ad hoc solutions.
Responsibilities to include
- Perform in-depth analysis of customer and financial data to generate insights, identify growth opportunities, and provide recommendations to support company’s strategies and key objectives
- Design and deploy automated dashboards, reports and visualizations to measure performance of key financial and business metrics against operational goals and initiatives
- Perform exploratory and targeted data analyses of complex datasets using descriptive statistics and other analytical techniques to understand patterns, uncover insights and help improve revenue and products
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and other teams to provide actionable insights, identify new opportunities, and help make data-driven decisions
- Continuously improve the quality and accessibility of our analytical framework and data reporting infrastructure with a focus on sharing, transparency, and documentation
- Communicate analytical insights and recommendations to technical as well as non-technical audiences
Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM, Business, or similar quantitative discipline
4 years’ experience in data analytics - 1 years experience with business intelligence/visualization tools (e.g. Quicksight, Tableau, PowerBI etc.) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe etc.)
- Proficient in SQL, with experience in writing queries for large complex data sets
- Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets
- Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly Collaborative and team player
- Familiarity with Data science/machine learning
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders
- Self-starter and able to work independently
Preferred Experience
- Fintech experience
- Building, testing, and productionizing machine learning models
- Python / R
Base Salary
The annual base salary for this position is between $120,000.00 and $160,000.00 depending upon experience.
