Job Description:
As a Group Employment Floater, you will be responsible for supervising different work crews within your designated territory whenever the assigned Group Employment Professional is unavailable. This role guarantees you 40 hours per week. Additionally, you will be reimbursed for mileage at the government rate for travel required within your territory. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and productivity of the work crews in the absence of the Group Employment Professional.
Responsibilities:
- Support and Mentorship: Provide one-on-one and group support to adults with developmental disabilities as they engage in community-based employment activities. Offer guidance, encouragement, and instruction to help individuals build essential job skills.
- Adaptability: Serve as a "floater" and be ready to assist at multiple job sites. Adapt to changing environments and provide consistent support to participants regardless of the setting.
- Skill Development: Work collaboratively with participants to develop their vocational and life skills. This includes job training, communication skills, and time management.
- Monitoring: Ensure that work is produced according to specifications of the host company, and that all safety requirements are being met. Monitor the quality of work produced by the individuals at the work site.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of participants' progress and ensure accurate reporting in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets insurance underwriting criteria.
- Reliable transportation.
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Obtain/maintain CPR/First Aid certification/DODD certification.
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn basic computer skills.

Hours of Work: 12:45 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. (schedule may fluctuate based on staffing needs and coverage requirements), Monday - Friday
