About The Role
We are seeking an Acquisition Business Process Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Description
Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:
- The Acquisition Business Process Subject Matter Expert will develop acquisition documentation for the various milestones and decision points outlined by DoDI 5000.02 and 50000.75, as well as Sustainment programs, and Functional Office representatives within J6.
- Provide support or facilitate various workshop requirements for J62 PEO Operations on the development, improvement, and sustainment of DLA’s systems processes and documentation procedures.
- Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
- Requires a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Business Analyst experience; particularly in the areas of Process Design, Systems Analysis, and Strategic Planning across the PEO portfolio.
- Requires demonstrated experience supporting Functional Integrated Product Teams (FIPT), specifically experience in supporting the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) in the development of Defense Business IT acquisition policies, guides, etc.
- Requires demonstrated experience supporting benchmarking activities and identifying, corroborating, and documenting best practices within an IT organization.
- Requires demonstrated experience providing support for the preparation of Problem Statements for annual DBS certification packages for Deputy Chief Management Officer (DCMO) review and approval as part of Execution Plan (OEP DLA’s Organization).
- Must have experience with Information Technology Acquisition process and its milestones.
- Must have experience with the following programs:
- MS Suite (Specifically MS Project Proficiency)
- Word
- Excel
- Access
- Project Management
- Prosight
- Power Point
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Years of experience and certifications will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, other equivalent nationally recognized certification preferred.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
