Description
In compliance with Californias Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act, the salary range for this role is $101,500 - $137,750. However, Sawdey Solution Services, Inc. will consider several factors when extending an offer to an applicant. These factors include, but not limited to, the position and associated responsibilities; and an applicants work experience, education, related training, and related skills.

About the Role :
The Information Technology System Engineer (Tactical) - Mid will install, test, and support Microsoft Windows and Android based systems.
Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To :
Design, build, brief, and deploy Tactical Land Area Network (TACLAN) Images as well as inventory, track, and resolve usability and configuration issues of new TACLAN Images.Responsible for scanning, remediating, rescanning, and reporting to cognizant authority the status of Category I vulnerabilities in support of the accreditation of new TACLAN Images in addition to downloading, installing, and verifying Microsoft Updates in support of TACLAN Images.Generate documentation necessary to receive an Interim Authority to Operate (IATO).Build small test networks in support of Network Security Vulnerability scanning, troubleshoot client / server and network, and conduct testing, quality assurance, and drafting test plans for functional testing and accreditation.Responsible for drafting Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents, accreditation, documentation, and conduct peer review of documents created by others.Install / configure / troubleshoot VMware server virtualization products independently, configuring Information Technology assets in accordance with Federal Information Processing guidelines (such as DISA STIGs and NSA SNACs).Configuration and maintenance of networking equipment - primarily routers, switches, and firewalls.Run the DOD approved Information Assurance tool ACAS Security Center to assess the vulnerability status of networked and non-networked assets and provide reporting / risk assessments on an as needed basis.Assist with proposal development, if necessary.Perform other duties, as assigned.Experience :
Five (5) years System Administrator Experience at the NOC level.Experience in configuring Information Technology assets in accordance with Federal Information Processing guidelines (such as DISA STIGs and NSA SNACs).Experience working with the DoD DIACAP accreditation process.Experience in configuration and maintenance of networking equipment - primarily routers, switches, and firewalls.Education :
Bachelor's Degree in IT or Computer science ORFour (4) years of experience in IT or Computer related fields in lieu of degree.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations :
ITIL v3 Certification and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.Other Required Skills & Abilities :
Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to : Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to install / configure / troubleshoot VMware server virtualization products independently.Ability to run the DoD approved Information Assurance tool to assess the vulnerability status of networked and non-networked assets and provide reporting / risk assessments on an as needed basis.Security Clearance :
Secret security clearance required with eligibility to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.US Citizenship : This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
