We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Barback/Busser to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing excellent service to our guests.
Position Overview: As a Barback/Busser at The Delta Saloon, you will play a key supporting role in ensuring the bar and dining areas are running smoothly and efficiently. You will assist bartenders and servers in maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked workspace while providing great service to our guests. Your contributions will help create an enjoyable experience for everyone who visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist bartenders with stocking supplies, including liquor, garnishes, glassware, and utensils
- Clean and reset tables quickly to ensure that new guests can be seated promptly
- Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining room
- Carry and deliver drinks and food orders to guests when necessary
- Remove empty glasses and plates from tables and bars in a timely manner
- Ensure that all bar equipment is properly maintained and cleaned
- Replenish ice, napkins, straws, and other bar essentials as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests and ensuring their needs are met
- Assist servers and bartenders with additional tasks as needed, including running food, refilling drinks, and ensuring tables are cleared promptly
- Follow all safety, health, and sanitation procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment is preferred, but not required
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and efficient
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to assist others
- Must be a team player.
