Automotive Sales Associate

Sawgrass Ford is hiring a motivated candidate with a desire to be a top earner. Pay Plan includes Salary & commission structure, as well as monthly bonus.

The ideal candidate must feel comfortable engaging with consumers in person and via various forms of communication (phone, text, email, social media) all while providing excellent customer service throughout the sales process. The ideal candidate should have an Automotive sales background to apply. Bi Lingual is a plus!

Job Duties (include but are not limited to):

• Schedule: minimum 40 hours per week with a fixed weekly schedule. Different shifts available to fit your lifestyle.
• Greet and analyze customers needs and provide them with the product knowledge and customers service that will lead to a sale.
• Input customers information into the dealership software to develop your book of business
• Educate and show the customer different automobiles
• Maintaining frequent communication and follow up with customers indicating purchasing interest
• Provide professional and knowledgeable support to customers to determine their needs and discuss vehicle options before coming into the dealer
• Ability to overcome objections with a positive and friendly attitude
• Strong drive to meet sales goals
• Follow up with existing customers to confirm their satisfaction and generate leads through our innovative social media program

Job Requirements (include but are not limited to):

•  Positive attitude and ability to communicate effectively
• · Ability to multitask and maintain good relationship with dealership management
• · Prior experience in automotive facility preferred but not required
• · Ability to follow directions successfully
• · Ability to communicate with managers and peers, Bilingual a PLUS!
• · Ability to maintain composure under pressure
• · Excellent Customer Service skills
• · Detail oriented
• · Must be dependable and have great work ethic
• · High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• · Valid driver's license with Clean driving record
• · Must maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
• · Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
• Outgoing personality with the ability to form relationships
• Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency
• Professional appearance and presentation skills
• Must hold a valid drivers license
• Must submit to a pre employment background check and drug screen

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE:

• One year in retail environment preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Moving throughout the sales department and grounds
• Using computer to look up information
• Standing six to eight hours during a shift
• Bending, stretching, lifting, reaching and climbing
• Using equipment consistent with industry standards
• Using a video display terminal
• Driving a vehicle
• Participate with Hurricane teams
