As we continue to grow, we are seeking a forward-thinking, results-driven Executive Vice President (EVP) to join our leadership team. This pivotal role will support the President in overseeing all strategic, operational, and financial aspects of the business. The EVP will play a key role in driving day-to-day operations while focusing on the long-term success and scalability of the company.
Position Overview:
The EVP will lead operational excellence, drive growth strategies, and foster a high-performance culture. Working closely with the President, this role will oversee business development, financial management, HR, marketing, procurement, legal affairs, and client relationships. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with strong business acumen, operational expertise, and legal knowledge, preferably within the construction or related industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Collaborate with the President to develop and execute strategic goals that align with the company’s vision and mission.
- Evaluate and improve current business processes, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Lead organizational change initiatives to enhance adaptability and growth.
- Provide strategic insights to support executive decision-making.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee business operations, including HR, marketing, financial management, procurement, and client services.
- Manage and align vertically integrated supporting companies with core operations.
- Develop and implement policies, processes, and systems for scalability.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure operational success and accountability.
Financial Stewardship:
- Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support growth objectives.
- Secure and manage credit lines and funding sources to maintain financial health.
- Optimize project budgets, contracts, and expenditures for cost-effectiveness.
Legal and Compliance Oversight:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and contractual obligations.
- Oversee contracts, agreements, and dispute resolution processes.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel for complex matters.
Client Development and Relationship Management:
- Support business development efforts to expand market presence.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Represent the company in negotiations, industry events, and public forums.
Qualifications:
- Education: MBA or an advanced degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required. Legal experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of executive leadership experience in construction, facilities management, or related industries. Multi-state operations experience is a plus.
