Full-time Hourly Position starting at $7.20 DOE plus tips and benefits! Located in Albuquerque, NM. Working out of Sawmill Market in one of our six different kitchens!
Essential Duties and Functions / Responsibilities / Tasks :
- Will work in one of our Sawmill Market Counters; either Mercantile Cafe, Flora Taco, Little Madrid Tapas, Fish n' Chips, Sweets, or Red and Green New Mexican Food.
- Work under direction of The Sawmill Market General Manager.
- Communicate daily with staff and leadership regarding job assignments and required timeframe.
- Maintain high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards at all times.
- Set up / breakdown and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
- Cook menu items in collaboration with other kitchen team members.
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
- Other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of this position as needed at the property.
