What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merchandiser position at Sawyer Nursery?
Sawyer Nursery is a leading grower of Perennials in the US. We are based out of Hudsonville, MI. We are currently seeking in store garden center merchandisers!
Sawyer Nursery merchandisers are responsible for merchandising plant products, unloading the shipments of plants that come in onto the perennial tables, signing, maintaining and culling.
The merchandising position would be a perfect fit for someone looking for a fun and rewarding spring and summer job! This is a seasonal part time position (April-Mid August). Hours will vary by location and time of season.

Main Responsibilities-
- Unloading the carts of plants and displaying onto the perennial tables
- Establish and maintain positive communication with store team
- Maximize merchandising sales by effective merchandising
- Communicate with Sawyer Nursery on volume or quality issues
- Ensure all product is correctly signed with provided signs
Qualifications-
- Able to work independently in a customer service area
- Able to communicate via email, texts or phone calls
- Able to lift to 40 pounds
- Able to bend and move constantly
