JOB SUMMARY:
The Account Coordinator is responsible for supporting Walmart account operations with a focus on SKU management, order writing and processing, and effective communication. Key duties include maintaining and updating SKU files to ensure accuracy, writing and processing orders adhering to timelines, and generating reports to track sales and inventory trends. This role also involves managing a comprehensive tag program, managing plant images for online website and coordinating communication with the merchandising team to optimize product sales. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, proactive communication and ability to work independently are essential for success in this position.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in Computer Applications:
- Demonstrated ability to use computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and relevant retail or inventory management systems.
- Experience with data entry, reporting, and online platforms preferred.
- Any experience with Walmart Supplier One and Luminate applications is a plus.
- Understanding of Retail Environment:
- Prior experience in a retail setting, preferably in garden centers, nurseries, or similar industries.
- Familiarity with merchandising, inventory management, and customer service best practices.
- Time Management Skills:
- Proven ability to manage timelines and meet strict deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong organizational skills to plan and execute multiple tasks effectively.
- Taking and editing Photos:
- Ability to take pictures and follow Walmart guidelines for their Online website.
- Submit photos for new items and update old pictures as needed.
- Prioritization Abilities:
- Ability to assess tasks and prioritize effectively to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Adaptable to shifting priorities based on business needs.
- Attention to Detail:
- Strong focus on accuracy in documentation, inventory control, and quality checks.
- Ability to identify and correct discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Problem-Solving Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to analyze challenges and implement effective solutions independently or collaboratively.
- Resourcefulness in addressing unexpected issues in a retail and nursery environment.
- Education and Certifications (Optional):
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in horticulture, retail management, or a related field is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., plant care, inventory management) are advantageous.
- Communication Skills:
