Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting and labor tasks, demonstrating proficiency in both indoor and outdoor projects. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The Painter/Laborer will be responsible for executing painting jobs, maintaining tools and equipment, and assisting with various construction tasks.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and airless paint spraying techniques to achieve a smooth finish.
- Perform concrete finishing tasks including pouring, leveling, and smoothing surfaces.
- Assist with fixture installation and ensure proper alignment and secure attachment.
- Execute stucco application and maintenance for exterior surfaces.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for various tasks including caulking and drywall installation.
- Support masonry work by mixing materials and assisting with brick or stone placement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in painting, concrete finishing, drywall installation, or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in construction and painting tasks.
- Knowledge of stucco application techniques is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation to job sites.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
