Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant or fine dining setting, and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Grill Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
Must pass drug test and background check
Hours: 1pm-8pm, We run 7 days a week, you will be assigned a set of days to work.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook grilled items to perfection, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and dining are, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Prepare all food orders on the grill and serve to customers
- Run POS to place and cash out order
- Light bartending, must be over 21
- Monitor inventory levels of grill supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and report any issues promptly.
- Provide excellent support to other kitchen staff during busy service periods, helping where needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Grill Cook or similar role in the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Proficient knife skills with the ability to prepare various ingredients efficiently.
- Experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
