Role : AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop) Engineer
Location : Lansing, MI (Onsite)
Job Type : Contract
Looking for Azure AVD subject matter expertise in designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop experiences and remote apps for any device.
should be able to manage end-user desktop environments, including delivering applications and configuring user settings. You should use the Azure portal, templates, scripting, and command-line tools to manage an Azure Virtual Desktop deployment.
Support hours : 7am EST - 4 : 30pm EST, On-Call support Off business hours, Weekends and Holidays
Primary skills :
- Update the image based on business requirements provided by client, including monthly security patches, updates required to support a client enterprise release and version upgrades of software that has been operationalized.
- Creating, updating, and responding to Monitors of the AVD environment.
- Service Restoration activities not requiring privileged access (incident management, system troubleshooting, performing Elevating access activities, escalating actions requiring Privileged Access to client team members)
- Very good hands-on experience on Group Policy management
- Capacity planning, in coordination with AVD Architecture & Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience on Azure Virtual Desktop Operational Support
- Good understanding on cloud License management
- You should have experience with Azure technologies, including :
- Very good hands-on experience cloud concept Azure Virtualization, Azure Networking, Azure
- Identity and Azure Storage
- Manage and maintain identity, security, compliance, and protected user devices.
- Printing on Azure Virtual Desktop using Universal Print
- Good hands-on experience on User profile management product, Roaming Profile, Fslogix and
OneDrive
