What are the responsibilities and job description for the AWS Architect position at Saxon Global?
Act as subject matter expert around the AWS cloud platform.
Design and Architect cloud-based solutions based on security best practices and AWS key pillars using IaaS and PaaS deployment models.
Highly experience in providing solution and architecture on AWS cloud within areas like Compute, Databases, Networking, Serverless, Data Analytics and Security.
Demonstrated experience migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud by working on technical design and architecture with various AWS services
Define or invent cloud-native reference architectures for a variety of use cases e.g. Machine Learning, Serverless and Container based architectures, Analytics, DevOps and Security.
Work directly with strategic customers to accelerate their challenging, mission-critical projects and recommend best-practice architectures in line with their long-term business outcomes.
Build technical relationship between customers and AWS and make recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability and operational efficiency.
Evangelize and educate about AWS technology and industry trends within the Organization (e.g. through workshops, or conferences).
Strong verbal and written communications, analytical and presentation skills.
AWS certification (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Specialty Certification) or other industry certification.
