Saxon Global is seeking a skilled Telephony Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for supporting the migration from an on-premises telephony solution to Genesys Cloud.
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to work with a highly customized telephony solution for customer care, where customers and providers can call in with questions about benefits, claims, and grievances. You will be working closely with our team to ensure a smooth transition to the cloud-based system. Your expertise in cloud-based telephony, IVR systems, and object-oriented programming will be essential in designing and developing complex IVR systems and migrating existing APIs to Java.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support road mapping for the cloud migration and the future of the solution
- Support the migration effort, including writing and consuming new APIs, designing and developing complex IVR systems
Requirements:
- Cloud-based telephony experience, preferably with Genesys Cloud
- IVR experience
- PBX and VoIP knowledge
- Object-oriented programming experience, including Java and API development
Nice to Have:
- Experience with health insurance industry would be beneficial
