Primary Responsibilities :
- Work with suppliers' internal teams to coordinate procurement and shipment of critical aerospace components.
- Monitor and document issues and barriers faced in day-to-day operations. Communicate status reports and customer leadership.
- Actively drive supplier accountability and success towards hitting delivery promise dates.
- Conduct supplier rate assessments.
- Conduct supplier performance assessments. Track performance and improvement over time.
- Identify supplier risks and help drive risk mitigation plans.
- Provide recommendations for supplier improvements.
- Be empowered to execute supplier operational improvement initiatives
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to current supply chain customer processes, tools, trainings, etc.
- Implement corrective action plans for any identified supplier process gaps
- Regularly present supplier performance progress, action items, challenges, risks, and progress to key internal and external stakeholders.
- Adhere to import, export, and procurement regulations.
- This role requires daily visits to the supplier location.
