Job Description :

our client is in their search for a Software Engineer to add to their growing team near Indianapolis, Indiana. You will be utilizing C / C to develop and maintain the real-time software of the CNC machines and tools.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in computer or electrical engineering or computer science, or related field.
  • Proficient in real-time software development.
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Proficient in C / C software development.
  • Visual Studio or Azure Devops
  • Team player with capability to work independently.
  • Experience in motion control and servo system is a plus.
  • Experience in embedded system design and development is a plus.

Responsibilities :

  • Participate in designing, developing, and maintaining real-time software subsystems for CNC machine tools
  • Interface the real-time subsystem with other subsystems, such as a User Interface and a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)

    • Investigate customer problem reports.
