Apex has an opportunity for a Java Developer for a client in Jersey City, NJ.

Here are the details :

Position : Java Developer (with Big Data)

Location : Jersey City, NJ

Rate : Negotiable

Duration : 12 month contract (with potential for conversion)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

Enterprise Data Management is focused on delivering the firm's master data strategy, implementing enterprise data policies & governance, driving a holistic access to data via our data Lake, and enabling the business to deliver advanced outcomes for ourselves and our customers using AI / ML techniques. This position will sit in the data innovation team, helping to stand up regulatory data office team.

Must Haves :

• Strong hands on backend developer experience with Java 11, Spring, Databases (Relational & NoSQL), Big data, Exposure to Kafka
• Linux, VM basics, Docker / Containers, Tomcat, Shell script, Python
• Experience with Big Data solutions (Apache Spark).
• Data structures, Algorithm, Object-orientated programming techniques, Design patterns, Java Concurrency, Memory Management
• Experience with GIT, CI / CD, Automated unit / integration / regression tests, Maven.
