Responsibilities :
- Design, deploy, and maintain network security solutions for cloud-based environments, primarily on AWS and Azure platforms.
- Utilize automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to automate security processes, such as firewall rule provisioning, log analysis, and incident response.
- Configure and manage Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewalls to enforce security policies, monitor network traffic, and prevent unauthorized access.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect secure network solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments to identify potential security risks and recommend remediation strategies.
- Monitor network traffic and security logs to identify and respond to security incidents promptly.
- Implement and manage security controls for identity and access management (IAM) within cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot network security issues and provide timely resolutions, working closely with other IT teams and external vendors if necessary.
