Position: QA Lead – Large-Scale Project Delivery

We are seeking a seasoned QA Lead to guide quality engineering efforts for a high-visibility warehouse management system project. This role is ideal for someone with deep QA experience in large-scale enterprise environments, strong leadership skills, and a solid background in warehouse or transportation management systems—Manhattan Active WM experience is a major plus.
The successful candidate will drive quality initiatives across agile teams, mentor QA engineers, and ensure delivery excellence through automation, performance testing, and strategic QA planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end QA efforts for enterprise-level projects across multiple releases and environments.
- Define and implement strategic test plans aligned with business and project goals.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to define QA scope and deliverables.
- Oversee 3rd-party and offshore QA teams; ensure alignment with project standards.
- Act as primary QA liaison for vendor coordination and issue resolution.
- Drive test automation strategy and CI/CD integration.
- Manage test cycles including functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
- Lead defect triage and RCA (root cause analysis) efforts.
- Coach QA team members and promote continuous improvement practices.
- Track and report QA metrics and quality KPIs.
- Contribute to test data management and environment coordination.
- Provide accurate estimations and participate in resource planning.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8 years in Quality Assurance, including 2 years in a QA Lead or equivalent leadership role.
- Proven experience with large-scale enterprise implementations.
- Expertise in Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and DevOps environments.
- Extensive experience with Warehouse and/or Transportation Management Systems (MAWM preferred).
- Strong automation skills including:
- Selenium (JavaScript or Java)
- Test runners like JUnit, TestNG, Mocha, Jasmine
- Appium, WebDriverIO
- Selenium Grid, modular frameworks
- CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab, TeamCity; version control (e.g., Git).
- Backend validation using SQL and test data management best practices.
- Performance and load testing fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Jira and QMetry for test and defect management.
