Job Description
AWS Data/Test Lead (PySpark).
As an AWS Test/Data Lead, you will serve as a validation and quality assurance expert, ensuring the functionality and performance of existing systems. Your responsibilities will include conducting requirement analysis, defining test strategies, designing optimal test environments, and leading test execution to deliver superior outcomes. You will collaborate with top talent in the industry to create innovative, high-quality, and defect-free solutions tailored to meet clients’ business needs. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the specialty may substitute for each year of education.
- 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Must be located within commuting distance of Irvine, CA, or willing to relocate.
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in developing Test Strategies and Test Scenarios; ability to review these with pod leads and business stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodology, including sprint planning and PI planning.
- Hands-on experience working on cloud platforms, specifically with AWS services such as S3, Athena, EMR, and CloudWatch.
- Familiarity with Airflow and AWS-Cloud methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL and working with relational data.
- Ability to create end-to-end (E2E) integration models and manage testing deliverables.
- Proven experience in developing automation frameworks and implementing Test Data Management (TDM) solutions:
- Automated data provisioning (Test Data on Demand).
- Synthetic data generation.
- Data profiling and refresh.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong ability to participate in team agile planning activities and represent the team in various activities and meetings.
