What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAN Storage Engineer position at Saxon Global?
Design, implement and support the Storage environments for both internal and external projects. Work closely with the technical team to develop and implement new policy initiatives and best practice guidelines.
Responsibilities :
- Design, manage, maintain, and document both internal and customer Storage environments.
- Write and review technical specifications for Storage environment.
- Resolve performance, security, and reliability issues with production Storage environments
- Configuration and support for EMC and Pure Storage environment
- Development, maintenance and management of monitoring systems and tools.
- Development, maintenance, and management of applications that support our Internal Storage infrastructure and services.
- Participate in the overall design and management of the internal storage environment.
- Drive to remote DCs and rack / stack new storage systems
