CTH SAP IT Director - Telecommute
Optum Frontier Therapies ("OFT") / Optum Specialty Distribution ("OSD") technology team is part of OptumRxIT and is dedicated to technical solutions that support the OFT and OSD business. The SAP IT Director will be a member of the technology leadership team supporting these two exciting new businesses serving patients, pharma manufacturers, pharmacies, and providers by distributing and servicing therapies at the frontier of healthcare.? The successful candidate will partner with our vendors and internal technology teams to lead the initial implementation and support SAP products to provide end to end supply chain efficiencies, quality, and value for pharmaceutical partnerships and to inform the planning for future organizational design and growth.

Job Responsibilities :
Primary accountability for successful deployment of ERP and supporting product roadmaps by collaborating with vendors, internal technology teams and business stakeholdersProvide leadership and providing expertise on SAP S / 4 HANA Cloud, Advanced Track and Trace (ATTP), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Business Technology Platform (BTP), Information Collaboration Hub (ICH), Vistex, 3rd party applications installed or integrated with SAP, such as Axway / EDIOwn technology relationship with SAP and related software vendorsManage internal distribution technology team, including transforming existing team members into distribution / SAP SMEs, bringing in outside talent with SAP expertise, defining roles and responsibilities for technology teamCollaborate with business and operations to define and govern software configurations, releases, and support processDevelops a robust understanding of business, market, and customer needs and can leverage that knowledge to propose and drive new or improved solutions to business partnersEstablishes partnerships across business and technology stakeholders to ensure the right problems are being solved the right way to meet customer needs.Recommends ways to mitigate interdependenciesShares learnings with others to influence changeEffectively communicates with business stakeholders and technical teamInitiates opportunities and influences stakeholders with ideas that drive business valueInfluences stakeholders to assess and manage the impacts of changes and drive decision makingChampions compliance with security standards and regulationsPro-actively identifies and addresses security gaps in solution design and deliveryExplores possibilities to discover unknowns (looks for what you can't see)Coaches and provides feedback to others on development of problem-solving skillsIdentifies checks and balances to confirm effectiveness of solutionLeads quality improvement processesDrives a quality culture by example, encouraging quality practices in othersInitiates and implements strategies to embed quality practices in cultureOversee technical system availability, including coordinating patching and upgrades, security, and DR scenario readinessCollaborate with broader technology organization for infrastructure, architecture and operational supportRequired :
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 15 years' experience leading IT ERP, SAP Teams, Projects, and Function for complex and highly regulated organizationMust have end-to-end technical leadership experience of large SAP, SAP S / 4 HANA, ERP teams for all functional application software technology services, especially implementing greenfieldDemonstrated ability to drive the IT organization to deliver strategic initiatives and transformations within the expected time, budget, and quality standards by providing the right tools, methodologies, and guidance, and by managing the delivery through IS, the business and external partnersSuperior business, SAP / ERP functional acumen is needed, including industry trendsExperience working in fast growing companies scaling corporate systems on foundational systems and processesPreferred :
Experience with SAP add-ons such as EWM, ICH, BTP, Vistex and ATTP strongly preferredKnowledge of the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) and EDIA technology leader with the outstanding ability to articulate vision, drive collaboration, reach consensus, and achieve alignment with cross-functional teams and parties with diverse interestsAdept at inspiring behavior change through motivating teams, planning initiatives, designating priorities, and being decisive when faced with ambiguityWillingness to be hands-on, dive into the details, and champion technology improvementsStrong communication, people leadership and fearless ways to bring teams together for common effective deliveryOutstanding stakeholder engagement and expectation management skillsExcellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats with customers, employees, stakeholders, and vendors at all levelsRequired Skills :
