What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior UX/UI Designer position at Saxon Global?
As a UX Researcher / Strategist, you'll be responsible for driving and executing research to influence the design of ETS's products and empower our product owners with the insights they need to make well-informed decisions. You will work closely with UX / UI designers, product owners, developers, business analysts, and marketing to understand the needs of users by planning and employing a variety of methods, including generative (foundational) and evaluative studies, primary and secondary research, and quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Own the end-to-end research process - design, plan, conduct research, and analyze results
- Collaborate with product teams to develop a UX strategy based on their situation and needs, identify appropriate research questions, and advise the team on the best method(s) to answer those questions
- Create research plans that are methodologically rigorous and comply with Institutional Review Board (IRB) guidelines
- Identify and recruit applicable participants in coordination with product owners
- Facilitate generative research, such as design thinking and ideation exercises, product / market fit, and product / solution fit analysis
- Conduct evaluative research, such as heuristics evaluations, A / B testing, usability testing
- Perform data analysis to determine key findings and translate findings into insights and impactful product-related and strategic recommendations
- Communicate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and presentations
- Mentor and coach junior UX researchers on the team
- Socialize user-centered design methodologies across different audiences at ETS
- Design low-fidelity wireframes or basic prototypes
