SQL Database Developer

Job Description :

Primary Location : Hackensack, NJ; Secondary : Minneapolis, MN; Third : Atlanta, GA

Based on the current funding, creating this role for only 2023. However, this will be extended into 2024 as soon as funding is approved.

Hybrid : 3-days in-office

Must have : Top-3

Deep knowledge of Relational Databases, Microsoft SQL server and proficient in T-SQL, SSIS and SSRS. (10 years of experience)

Design and Development of high-quality OLAP and OLTP database solutions, Data Warehousing

Optimization and Performance improvements for Data Processing (Queries, Stored Procs, Functions, etc.)

Additional important Technical Skills :

Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL

Review and interpret ongoing business reporting requirements and build appropriate reporting deliverables

Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-on environment

Experience in Distributed Computing

Understaing of Data Security models, Row-level and Column-level data security

Important Soft-skills :

Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Process oriented with great documentation skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Nice-to-have :

experience with Azure Data Factory and snowflakes

experience with Non-Relational Databases (Mongo DB, Cassandra)
