Required
- Overall experience : 10 years. This is a senior role.
- SQL Server DBA Experience : 3 years working as a SQL Server DBA in an enterprise environment, with hands-on experience across versions 2012-2022.
- Database Design & Implementation : Expertise in server partition design, SQL Server HA / DR solutions (Always On, replication, mirroring, log shipping), and large database migration strategies.
- SQL Server Upgrades & Backup : Experience with SQL in-place upgrades on both VM and physical servers, as well as managing backup processes and procedures.
- Capacity Planning & Performance : Knowledge of database capacity planning and optimization.
- Communication & Documentation : Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to document standard operational procedures and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving & Collaboration : Ability to manage multiple priorities and incidents, work autonomously, and collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams to solve problems.
- Mentorship & Teamwork : Experience working with global teams, coaching, and mentoring colleagues as needed.
