Storage and Backup Admin || onsite Rochester, NY || 12 Months Contract
Rate:-$60-62.5/hr W2 for Lead Admin
$50-52.5/hr W2 for Admin
Qualifications:
- Knowledge in hardware platforms, including:
- IBM SVC
- IBM, NETAPP, and EMC Storage Arrays
- EMC Data Domain
- Familiarity with systems management platforms, including:
- Commvault Backup
- IBM Tivoli Storage Manager
- HP ArcSight
- DR Orchestrator
- Enterprise Vault
- Proven experience in leading teams and delivering these types of activities for at least 5 years (7 years preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting skills in storage and backup issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with ticketing tools.
- Proven leadership abilities with a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the key contact for storage and backup-related matters.
- Lead a team of 2 to 3 storage and backup administrators.
- Review technical infrastructure design for storage and backup systems, assessing and proposing improvements.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts in the storage and backup area.
- Perform technical assessments/reviews between different infrastructure options as part of platform upgrade and refresh activities.
- Provide incident analysis and resolution when required.
- Assist in the preparation of technical infrastructure standards, including build and configuration standards.
Salary : $50 - $60
