Saxum Vineyards is seeking a reliable and physically capable Seasonal Winery Laborer to assist with various tasks during the upcoming harvest season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily operations in the cellar, including cleaning, maintenance, and equipment operation
- Participate in vineyard activities, such as fruit reception, sorting, and crushing/destemming
- Ensure adherence to safe cellar practices and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Work collaboratively with the full-time crew to achieve production goals
- Be available to work weekends and variable schedules during the harvest season
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment (such as a winery or vineyard)
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Comfortable working at heights and in wet conditions
- Good physical stamina and endurance
- Reliable and punctual attendance
