POSITION DESCRIPTION
As an Engineering leader for government applications, you will lead a team of developers creating solutions based on Sayari’s products for our government customers (US, UK). These solutions may involve enhancements to our applications, data, and analytics. This team may also be required to have occasional onsite presence in government offices in the Washington DC metro area. You will have the opportunity to work directly with Sayari government sales, government customers and product management. Technologies you and your team will employ includes javascript, scripting in various languages such as python, jvm languages (such as scala, java), containers, and CSPs including GCP, AWs.
This position requires US Citizenship and a TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph level clearance.
\n- Technical ownership of the customized applications for government customers
- Engage with federal customers, sales and product management to establish solution definitions, scope, and timing
- The ability to quickly take stock of a customer’s technology environment and data holdings and recommend solutions which will lead to successful outcomes for both Sayari and the customer
- Experience delivering software projects in classified environments such as C2S
- The ability to bridge the gap between developers working both in classified and unclassified settings
- Lead a team of software engineers executing on development tasks and customer engagements
- Quality and timely customer delivery
- Innovation in your technical ownership area
- 3 years leadership experience of software development teams
- 2 years engaging closely with customers and external development teams to define and implement solutions
- 4 years in typescript/javascript and JVM programming language (e.g. Scala, other)
- 4 years in persistence technologies: SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, Elastic, BigQuery, Graph
- Experience with ETL tools and data processing pipelines: Apache Spark
- Experience with SaaS and CSP provided technologies: Kubernetes, GCP, AWS
- Experience integrating COTS software with bespoke government systems
- Strong technical communicator who can convey complex topics to different audiences including customers and sales
- Leader who possess a combination of strong execution, empathy, and technical mentorship skills for their team
- B.S. in Computer Science, or a related field.
- TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
- Ability to visit customer federal government customers 20% of the time (preferred location - Washington DC area)

Salary : $200,000 - $210,000
