What are the responsibilities and job description for the Music Instructor/Teacher position at Sayla Music Academy?
Sayla Music Academy is looking for experienced music instructors to teach private and group lessons at our beautiful music institution in Lodi, California. Sayla boasts a beautiful campus, flexible work schedules, competitive pay, employee benefits, a macromanaged work environment, and much more! We are interested in piano, voice, woodwind, cello, viola, and percussion teachers at the current time.
Responsibilities:
-To teach private lessons to our growing community of students and musicians.
-To support and assist students in performance and community activities.
-To communicate learning expectations, scheduling, and other details to students and/or their guardians.
-To be familiar and to help arbitrate the scope of Sayla's procedures regarding scheduling, attendance, campus security, online tasks, and event participation.
Requirements:
- Must have a bachelors degree or equivalent experience (5 years) in teaching music.
-Must be proficient in one or more instruments (including music theory and sight-reading skills).
-Must be able to use Google Workspace and accompanying Google applications.
-Must be able to teach in-person at our Lodi campus.
**Upon acceptance of your application, you will be asked to schedule an interview that includes a live audition for our administrators.**
