Position Overview

We are seeking a part-time Social Media Manager responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies for a client in the nonprofit criminal justice sector.

This role focuses on strategic social media management, data-driven optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional results for a leading cannabis justice reform nonprofit organization.

The Social Media Manager will oversee social media operations, develop platform-specific strategies, and drive measurable engagement across all current and emerging social platforms. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on social media management to ensure our clients' social presence aligns with their broader marketing objectives.

Responsibilities :

• Lead social media strategy development and execution for a cannabis justice reform nonprofit organization
• Develop and implement platform-specific strategies for Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube that maximize native engagement and leverage each platform's unique features
• Create comprehensive performance reports tracking key metrics including engagement rates, reach / impressions, video views, and community growth
• Provide strategic recommendations and optimization plans based on performance data and industry benchmarks
• Monitor and analyze cultural trends, breaking news, and platform updates to inform content strategy and identify opportunities
• Oversee and manage client social media accounts, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies and objectives
• Create and manage editorial calendars that support brand and campaign initiatives
• Execute content publishing across social platforms, maintaining consistent brand voice and engagement standards
• Present strategies and performance reports to clients and internal stakeholders

Qualifications :

Location and Salary

This is a part-time role with a salary range of $50-$60 per hour, depending on experience. You can expect to work 20-25 hours per week. This role is required to work East Coast hours. We are able to hire candidates in the states of California, Georgia, New York or Texas.
