We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager for Junipers Restaurant to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in casual dining and quick service environments, with a passion for hospitality and team development. As the GM, you will oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of food quality and service, and foster a positive work environment that encourages growth and excellence.
Currently, Junipers Restaurant is open 3 days per week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) from 4pm – 9pm, with the ability of clients to reserve the restaurant for private events on Sunday – Wednesday. The selected candidate will work about 60% of the work week at Junipers and 40% at the other food service establishments, including the Golden Bear, along with time spent on other related duties as assignment by upper management and the Director of Restaurant Operations.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling practices.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and controlling waste.
- Coordinate catering services and banquet events to meet customer needs.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues or feedback promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure menu quality and consistency.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership and communication.
- Work as an, “hands-on” member of the restaurant staff whether you are in the front of the house, back of the house, or behind the bar!
- Provide in-person support for other food service establishments by working on-site with current managers at these sites, specifically, the Golden Bear in Apple Creek.
