PERSONAL CARE HOME ADMINISTRATOR

THE AREA’S LEADING PROVIDER OF LONG-TERM CARE SERVICES IS SEEKING A FULL-TIME ADMINISTRATOR TO OUR RECENTLY CONSTRUCTED 50-UNIT PERSONAL CARE RESIDENCE. THE FACILITY IS PART OF A CAMPUS OFFERING SKILLLD NURSING SERVICES. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL POSSES EXCELLENT MANAGEMNT AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND THE ABILITY TO MANAGE AND DIRECT A STAFF OF EXPEREINCED PROFESSIONALS.

Overview
The Personal Care Home Administrator plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of a nursing home facility, ensuring that residents receive high-quality care in a safe and supportive environment. Duties

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Personal Care Home, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a high standard of care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote resident safety and well-being.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective medication administration and health management for residents.
  • Handle budgeting and financial management to ensure the facility operates within its means while providing quality services.
  • Foster relationships with residents, families, and community partners to enhance service delivery.
  • Monitor the quality of care provided by staff, implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Address resident concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.

Skills

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in senior care settings is highly desirable.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
  • Knowledge of home care practices, retirement home operations, and group home environments.
  • Proficiency in budgeting and financial management within a healthcare context.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with residents, families, and staff.
  • Understanding of medication administration protocols and healthcare regulations.
  • Ability to develop programs that enhance resident engagement and satisfaction.
