Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks during busy periods.
- Stay informed about new drink recipes, trends in the beverage industry, and menu changes to provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests.
- Assist in training new staff members on bar operations and customer service standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in a bartending role is preferred but not required; candidates with experience in the food industry or restaurant environment will be considered.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell beverages and promote special offers effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and the ability to handle difficult situations gracefully.
- Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques or fine dining service is a plus for candidates interested in enhancing their skill set within our establishment.
