Associate Brand Manager – Southern Comfort
Are you ready to make an impact on a legendary brand? As the Associate Brand Manager for Southern Comfort, you’ll play a key role in developing and executing brand strategies, activation plans, and new business development (NBD) initiatives to drive growth. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Trade Marketing, Business Intelligence, Operations, Finance, Compliance, agencies, and trade partners to ensure Southern Comfort continues to thrive in the marketplace.

What You’ll Do:
Brand & Business Growth
- Lead and execute marketing activation plans, including budgeting, pricing strategy, and campaign execution to achieve sales and profit objectives.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and add value to the business.
- Support the development of brand strategies that drive consumer engagement and solve customer needs.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Utilize Cognos, VIP, BI tools, and internal systems to track brand performance against key business objectives.
- Analyze market trends and consumer insights to optimize marketing strategies and drive data-backed decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to build Southern Comfort into a profitable global brand aligned with company objectives.
- Support and manage agency efforts in creative development, packaging, media, promotions, and public relations.
- Lead New Business Development (NBD) projects from concept to execution, navigating cross-functional teams and internal processes to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Leadership & Project Management
- Effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects across categories, brands, and markets.
- Establish clear roles and responsibilities for project team members, ensuring timely updates and successful completion of priorities.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support the development of direct reports, if applicable.
Strategic Brand Planning & Execution
- Support the development of strategic brand plans, new initiative roadmaps, and special projects to drive brand success.
- Ensure seamless execution of brand strategies across markets, channels, and key accounts.
Utilize Professional Development System (PDS) and available resources to identify areas for continuous self-improvement. Regularly dedicate time to growing the skills outlined in the Development Plan.
