Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for accurately and efficiently answering and scheduling patient appointments. This role requires high-level problem-solving and analytical skills with the highest ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- High volume appointment scheduling and phone calls.
- Schedule appointments following protocols.
- Obtain, verify, and input all information accurately into scheduling system.
- Conduct insurance verification.
- Provide customer service to patients.
- Demonstrate courteous and professional behavior when dealing with patients.
- Resolve patient inquiries or escalate for solution.
- Routing calls to proper departments.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Excellent typing skills and friendly telephone etiquette.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 months of clerical experience.
- Experience working in physician practice.
- Experience in a call center.
- Experience with an appointment scheduling system.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
