We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. As an Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining Fire alarm systems in compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties.
**Duties:**
- Install, inspect, and maintain alarm systems following prescribed codes and regulations
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on alarm systems to ensure optimal functionality
- Test and troubleshoot alarm systems to identify and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate effectively with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
**Skills:**
- Prior experience as a Service Technician 3 years or similar role
- Proficiency in using hand tools, and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Knowledge of system design and low voltage systems
- Mechanical aptitude for understanding alarm system components
- Familiarity with detecting system malfunctions and implementing solutions
**Requirements:**
- Must have State of Ohio license in Fire Alarms
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to follow precise instructions accurately
- Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work at heights when necessary
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean record
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus
**Preferred Experience** (not required)
-familiarity with welding, rigging, or assembly would be beneficial
