We are seeking a skilled Hardscaper to join our team. Duties
- Design and install hardscape features including patios, walkways, driveways, and retaining walls.
- Prepare the site for installation by grading, excavating, and ensuring proper drainage.
- Work with various materials such as concrete, stone, brick, and pavers.
- Utilize tools and equipment safely and efficiently to complete projects.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress and any necessary adjustments.
Skills
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in Bluebeam for project planning and documentation.
- Experience in concrete finishing techniques to achieve high-quality surfaces.
- Knowledge of construction painting for finishing touches on hardscape projects.
- Trim carpentry skills to integrate wood elements into hardscape designs.
- Ability to fabricate custom features as per client specifications.
- Experience in remodeling projects that may involve hardscaping elements.
- Basic electrical knowledge for integrating lighting into hardscape designs.
- Competence in construction estimating to provide accurate project quotes.
- Familiarity with drywall installation for any adjacent structures or features.
- Skills in tile laying for decorative elements within hardscaping projects.
