Responsibilities
- Provide professional makeup application services for clients, ensuring satisfaction with the final look.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable makeup styles.
- Perform additional beauty services such as hair threading and eyelash extensions as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hygiene standards at all times.
- Engage with clients to promote products and services, utilizing upselling techniques effectively.
- Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products to provide informed recommendations.
- Assist in photography sessions by applying makeup that enhances the subject's features for optimal results.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere that fosters creativity and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Makeup Artist or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Knowledge of color theory and its application in makeup artistry.
- Familiarity with retail sales practices and upselling techniques is preferred.
- Certification in cosmetology or relevant training is highly desirable.
- Skills in hair styling are a plus, enhancing your versatility as a Makeup Artist.
- Experience in photography or an understanding of how makeup appears on camera is beneficial.
