Your Next Career Opportunity – Database Developer Intern
Support the office in general. Implement administrative policies alone or with other team members, performing the following duties.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
Database Developer
- Collaborate with the development team to understand data requirements and assist in the development and maintenance of SQL databases.
- Support database applications and reports while learning the fundamentals of database development.
- Assist in the design and implementation of basic business processes using T-SQL, including the creation of stored procedures, views, and functions.
- Participate in identifying and resolving database-related issues and contribute to the optimization of database performance. Contribute to the development of proposed database solutions, including considerations for security, backup, and recovery.
- Work with senior team members to enhance stored procedures and Transact-SQL queries.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities for process improvements and software development tools.
- Actively engage in educational opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
- Begin to use SQL monitoring software and assist in ETL processes for production and test environments.
- Gain experience in Application Lifecycle Management and assist in test-to-production deployments.
- Focus on delivering excellent service, understanding the company's business, and responding to internal customer needs.
