Industry leader in turnkey HVAC solutions is seeking a Service Sales Representative in Charlotte. This role will act as a maintenance solutions expert developing and maintaining customer relationships, selling preventative maintenance contracts, and providing recommendations for service and repair work for HVAC systems. Service Sales professionals from the HVAC, electronic security, elevator, copier, or audio-visual industries are welcome to apply. Primary Responsibilities:
Meet sales goals through the development of existing customers and prospecting new business.
Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from installed equipment database, industry sources, business directories, vertical market information, or any other lead generation source.
Call on existing and prospective customers to solicit orders, build customer relationships, and follow up on customer concerns.
Prepare cost estimates and price quotations on new work and coordinates the preparation of cost estimates on project continuations.
Verifies and quotes prices, credit terms, and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
Prepare reports on pipeline, sales activity, and business plans.
Minimum Qualifications:
5 years commercial HVAC sales experience, or proven track record in any commercial/industrial service sales role.
Valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle record
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Mechanical/technical aptitude and ability
Advanced business development skills and sales methodology to successfully close sales
Financial/business acumen
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage complex projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluent in communicating with C Suite
Advanced interpersonal skills (both internal and external) with ability to build and foster relationships
Advanced negotiation and influencing skills
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to provide recommendations and solutions for more complex concerns/issues
Ability to travel regularly throughout the greater Charlotte area.

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business, communications, or related field

The company provides a competitive base plus an aggressive sales incentive plan. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
