Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the overall eCommerce strategy, ensuring alignment with the brands vision and business objectives. Focus on achieving revenue growth, profitability, and customer engagement through digital channels.
- Website Optimization & Performance: Oversee the user experience, design, and functionality of the the eCommerce website. Continuously analyze, test, and improve the website to ensure it is user-friendly, optimized for conversion, and scalable.
- Sales Growth: Drive online sales and ensure consistent growth in traffic, conversion rates, and average order value (AOV). Develop promotional campaigns, seasonal strategies, and new product launches to maximize online revenue.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of eCommerce specialists, digital marketers, and web developers. Foster a collaborative environment and provide ongoing support and professional development opportunities.
- Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns (e.g., SEO, SEM, paid social, email, influencer partnerships) that drive traffic and sales. Ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and eCommerce goals.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, etc.) to track and measure key performance metrics. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize sales and customer experience.
- Inventory and Order Management: Work closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and exceptional customer service.
- Customer Experience: Champion customer-centric thinking, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable online shopping experience from discovery to post-purchase. Monitor customer feedback and adapt strategies to meet customer needs and expectations.
- Brand Development: Ensure that the eCommerce strategy is consistent with the brands identity and tone. Work with the creative team to ensure high-quality visual merchandising, storytelling, and product presentation online.
- Technology & Innovation: Stay ahead of eCommerce trends, tools, and technology. Lead the integration of new technologies that improve the shopping experience and operational efficiency (e.g., AI, chatbots, AR).
- Budget & P&L Management: Oversee the eCommerce budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources. Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize the return on investment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Commerce, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 7 years of experience in eCommerce, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally within the fashion or lifestyle industry.
- Proven experience in scaling eCommerce operations and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce), CRM, and analytics tools.
- Expertise in digital marketing (SEO, SEM, paid social media, email marketing, etc.) and customer acquisition strategies.
- Solid knowledge of eCommerce performance metrics (CRO, AOV, LTV, churn rate, etc.) and data analysis.
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Creative mindset with an eye for design and brand aesthetics.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data and insights effectively.
Salary : $100,000 - $175,000
