Position Overview :
Looking for an accomplished Director of Key Accounts to spearhead our partnership with Target. This role is crucial for leveraging your extensive expertise in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) and your deep understanding of Target’s operational and commercial framework. You will be responsible for driving growth, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset, creative flair, and a proven track record of managing and expanding key accounts.

- Strategic Planning & Execution :
Go-to-Market Strategy : Lead the planning and execution of Skincare’s full chain launch at Target, creating comprehensive go-to-market strategies that combine market insights and innovative marketing techniques. Ensure these plans effectively position Skincare within Target’s ecosystem and drive significant initial and sustained sales.
Relationship Building : Serve as the primary point of contact between Skincare and Target. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at Target. Ensure alignment between our brand’s strategic vision and Target’s business objectives.
Operational Alignment : Navigate Target’s operational processes and commercial landscape to align Skincare’s offerings with Target’s requirements. Address any operational issues promptly and effectively to ensure smooth execution.
Market Analysis : Utilize your expertise in the beauty industry and experience with CPG brands to identify growth opportunities and market trends within Target. Analyze consumer insights, competitive dynamics, and market conditions to inform trade marketing strategies and drive brand success.
Creative Marketing : Develop and execute disruptive marketing strategies that differentiate Skincare from competitors. Implement creative promotional tactics and merchandising plans that enhance brand visibility and drive customer engagement.
Sales Optimization : Implement targeted trade marketing initiatives, in-store events, and merchandising strategies to maximize brand performance. Utilize analytical tools to monitor sales metrics, identify performance trends, and refine strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
Performance Metrics : Regularly analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing strategies. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership to optimize brand performance and achieve growth objectives.
Inventory & Supply Chain Management : Oversee the operational aspects of the partnership, including inventory management, supply chain coordination, and adherence to Target’s retail standards. Proactively manage and resolve operational challenges to ensure seamless execution.
Process Improvement : Continuously assess and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices to optimize resource utilization and streamline workflow.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and supply chain to ensure cohesive strategy execution. Integrate creative solutions with operational needs for a unified approach.
Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and manage your team to ensure alignment with company goals and strategic priorities. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and develop personalized improvement plans.
