What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Director - Sustainability position at SBH Fashion?
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives, in partnership with the Executive Team, to support the business in its fabric innovation and sustainability goals, driving equity and competitive advantage for the business
- Create unique marketing collateral and messaging for the latest fabric innovations and support in the creation of innovation PR stories
- Liaise with key stakeholders including brand owners, Head of Impact and Engagement and Sustainability and Innovation leads on all marketing and brand development opportunities, including the creation of required internal brand assets
- Plan and prepare brand presentations on behalf of the leadership and business development teams
- Act as a Group brand ambassador; representing the company at industry events, brand meetings, seeking out beneficial brand partnerships as well as speaker opportunities for the Group’s spokespeople; act as a brand champion internally and externally
- Work together with the Head of Impact and Engagement to prepare briefs for agency partners (e.g., PR agency) and be responsible for managing them on a day-to-day basis
- Manage creative agencies to plan, execute and deliver new materials where needed
- Work together with the Head of Impact and Engagement to plan, track the marketing budget and analyse campaign / content performance, report on learnings and drive continuous improvement
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with the marketing, sustainability team and beyond
- Marketing, communications, or fashion-based degree holder, with at least eight years industry experience in a marketing or communications role. A textile and/or apparel background would be of benefit, however, this is not a must.
- The right candidate will be an ambitious self-starter, with a ‘can-do’ attitude, curiosity to learn and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- We are looking for a candidate who has a hunger for creativity and stand out storytelling, with a proven track-record in written and visual content creation and / or brand management.
- The right candidate should be able to evidence strong management and leadership skills, clear communication skills, as well as fluent in English with excellent writing and problem-solving skills.
Salary : $125,000 - $175,000
